Green Schools Ambassadors Programme
On Tuesday February 28th Castlerea Community School hosted the second meeting of students involved in the Green Schools Ambassadors Programme. Students and teachers from St. Nathys College, Ballaghadereen, St.Louis’ School, Kiltimagh, Solerno Secondary School, Galway and Seamount College, Kinvara attended. Topics for the day included tips on presentation skills, a talk on coastal pollutants, group work and planning for the remainder of the term. Then events of the day were coordinated by Caoimhe O Brien Moran.
Castlerea are represented by their Green School´s Ambassador, Oliver Watts, who had put a huge effort into organising the day and ensuring everything went smoothly. Thanks to all staff members who put presentations together for the noticeboards and integrated the Green Schools water theme into their classrooms and for their ongoing support in the implementation of this very worthwhile programme.
