Castlerea Community School at the cutting edge
Leaving Cert Engineering students observing a demonstration of the capabilities of the Boxford 190VMCxi Bench-top Computer Controlled Vertical Machining Centre. This Milling machine has just arrived this week in the Engineering Department. It is controlled by Industry Standard computer software, thereby ensuring Castlerea Community School students are up to date with the most modern practices in Engineering to date. It is reported that similar machines are also on order for many Institutes of Technology.
