Some very exciting news to share. Alphons Joby (TY) has just been announced overall winner of the very prestigious National Skills Competition 2026. With over 1,500 entries from all over Ireland Alphons’ comprehensive report on his work placement in Shannon Aviation Museum was described as exceptional by the adjudicators. Alphons and his mentor Ms. Larkin are invited to attend a special awards ceremony in the Department of Education and Youth on May 6th. Alphons will be presented with a MacBook Air Laptop and trophy and the school will receive a generous monetary award in recognition of our accomplishments in this competition. What an achievement for Alphons. We are all so proud of you.
