Youth Connect workshop
Maria O Shaughnessy of Youth Connect recently visited CCS to conduct a workshop on the area of Industrial Relations and Employment legislation with PLC, LCA, Business and LCVP students. Youth Connect is a service provided by the Irish Congress of Trade Unions. The workshop gave the students a deeper insight into the area of employment rights and responsibilities as well as the role of trade unions in the workplace. Following the presentation engaged in a questions and answers session which focused on their rights as young people while participating in part time work or work experience.
