OM Ireland facilitate CCS first year Faith reflection day
First year students were provided with a Faith/Reflection experience on Thursday February 16th.
This year’s “Faith/Reflection Day” was facilitated by “OM Ireland” http://www.ie.om.org/. The OM team was led by Junior Delarina and his team of 12 young adults from all over Europe.
Great excitement abounded around the school as the group set the tone for the two days arriving in what has become their flag ship all round Ireland “ The Red Bus “
Using Music and drama they explored with the students the importance of nurturing their self-worth and exploring the value of an ongoing relationship with God. Using activates and in small discussion group the .These young adults from EU countries shared how their faith supports their family, school and social lives.
Students spoke afterward of how they were thrilled with the experience of the day, stating it was brilliant .They spoke of approaching their friendships with each other and God in a new more trusting way.
Students from all year groups took up the OM invitation to chat over lunch or after school for a hour with the team on the Red bus.
