BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition 2023
Congratulations to Daniel Rodrigues and Kylian Crossan on reaching the final of the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition 2023.
Their project “Maths Anxiety in Students” is being very well received and attracting a lot of interest. The students examined maths anxiety in students of all ages and looked at the causes and symptoms. They then devised techniques to overcome this problem. They also discovered just because you have maths anxiety doesn’t mean you are bad at maths but that a lot of students miss out due to the anxiety. The problem is more common in girls than boys.
This is a great achievement and all in CCS wish the boys well in the competition.
