On Tuesday December 3rd six 5th year CCS students received Gold John Paul II awards at a very uplifting and inspiring liturgical celebration  in Castlerea Community school.

While in TY, these students gave their personal time, two hours per week for 20 weeks after school, being involved in a number of Social Awareness projects and Liturgical events in the Castlerea community and the surrounding parishes. Mr. Frank Mc Guinness ( Director of Youth-Young Adult Ministry & Vocations Diocese of Elphin ) presented the awards and complimented the students on their commitment and spoke about being delighted to hear these young people say that they intended to continue their involvement right into their college lives.
