Business Studies Fetac Level 5 Course

Duration 1 Year full time or 2 Years part time : Starting early Sept. 2012 Finishing May 2013

Course Descripition

This course is designed to give students a practical understanding of the general business environment with an emphasis on Administration, Accounting and Computer Applications. It is ideal for students who wish to pursue a career in business and/or access further education in Business and Computers.

Students course work will be evaluated by examinations  and course assignments

Child Care Fetac Level 5 Course

Duration 1 Year full time or 2 Years part time : Starting early Sept. 2012 Finishing May 2013

  • Leaving Certificate
  • Leaving Certificate Applied
  • Mature Students
  • (Interview may follow Application)

Assessment:

Students are prepared for the assessment and certification requirements of FETAC.

Students course work will be evaluated by examinations  and course assignments

Higher Education Links Scheme

The Higher Education Links Scheme allows FETAC Award holders to access Level 6, 7 and 8  courses in the following Higher Education Institutes in the west of the country

· Galway/Mayo Institute of Technology

· Sligo Institute of Technology,

· Limerick Institute of Technology

Maintenance Grants:

Students may qualify for maintenance grants subject to means testing.

Grant forms are available from Roscommon VEC office.
